Hollywood Blvd is the first single from Shyans new album, Brave New World, and can be heard online and on radio.
For Shyan, whos also the Spokesperson and COO of the Jimi Hendrix Foundation, the release of Hollywood Blvd comes hot on the heels of the Jimi Hendrix sex tape furor and serves to put the emphasis back on music for both Shyan and the Jimi Hendrix Foundation.
Brave New World, the Album will be released this summer through Brave New World Records and KOCH Entertainment.
About the Show
Numb3rs, is set in Los Angeles and stars Rob Murrow, David Krumholtz, Judd Hirsch, Diane Farr and Peter MacNicol. The show is about an FBI agent Don Epps (Murrow) who recruits his mathematicalgenius brother Charlie Epps (Krumholtz) to help the Bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes. The two brothers take on the most confounding criminal cases from their very different perspectives. According to CBS, the show is inspired by actual events and the series depicts how the confluence of police work and mathematics provides unexpected revelations and answers to the most perplexing criminal questions.
About the Song
"Hollywood Blvd" is full of the most tantalizing and sensational characteristics of the L.A. celebrity scene.
Complete with images of drugs, sex and money, the song is far from being a scathing review of Hollywood and its inhabitants. Rather, much like Shyan, it is simply about the truth the good and the bad, the glamour and the danger one wants in to this exclusive scene the minute they hear about it. It is an instant hit, impossible not to dance to, and the combination of Shyan's vivid lyrics complete with a pulsing base and screaming guitar gives this first track the promise of major crossover appeal.
Produced by BNW head of production, DJ Rocdusa and written by Shyan Selah, the track features a vocal performance by Arielle Paul (daughter of Alan Paul of the eight time Grammy Awardwinning group, Manhattan Transfer) and a lead guitar performance by David Foreman (Musical Director for R&B vocalist Anthony Hamilton).

Shyan Selah Releases Hollywood Blvd
As the first single to be released from Shyan Selahs debut album, Brave New World, Hollywood Blvd is full of the most tantalizing and sensational characteristics of the Hollywood celebrity scene. Complete with images of drugs, sex and success, the song is far from being a scathing review of the city and its inhabitants. Rather, much like Shyan, it is simply about the truth the good and the bad, the glamour and the danger one wants in to this exclusive scene the minute they hear about it. This song is about celebrity life, its realities, its illusions and its power over everyday people.
Major industry insiders are already buzzing about this first single from what promises to be a huge
album.
The sound, mix, vocals and content on this album is topnotch, says Eddy Schreyer, Owner/Chief Engineer for Oasis Mastering (Christina Aguilera, Akon, Kanye West, KC & JoJo). As far as Hollywood Blvd is concerned, this song is a hit!
Shyan Selah is something like Lenny Kravitz, Jay Z, DAngelo and Common combined in one, according to Jon Stockton, former V.P. for Def Jam Music Group and Bad Boy Entertainment. (Foxy Brown, Jagged Ede, 112, Destinys Child, Tyrese.)
He has combined important content , with hella club beatship hop, blues, rock & roll, and jazz all rolled up in one, says Booker T. Jones III, multiplatinum awarded mix engineer whos worked with the likes of Brandy, Boyz II Men, Mary J. Blige and Fantasia Barrino. Hes the next messenger yall. Listen!
Hollywood Blvd is an instant hit, impossible not to dance to. The combination of Shyan's vivid lyrics
complete with a pulsing base and screaming guitar solo from , Dave Davo Foreman (Anthony
Hamilton, Snoop Dogg, Christina Aguilera) gives this first track the promise of major crossover appeal; so much so that in May CBS/Paramount chose the track for a pivotal scene for their hit primetime drama, Numb3rs.
Produced by BNW head of production, DJ Rocdusa and written by Shyan Selah, the song also features a vocal performance by R.E.L. Paul (daughter of Alan Paul of the eight time Grammy Awardwinning group, Manhattan Transfer).

Seattle Steps In The Hip Hop Game with Shyan Selah Delivering Soulful Tracks With An Edgy Beat On The Debut Album, Brave New World
August 8, 2008, SEATTLE − Just when you thought Hip Hop was lost to snap music and seductive ring tones, Seattle based artist Shyan Selah comes with an edgy sound that infuses funk, rock, and R&B on his debut album Brave New World that hits stands September 2, 2008.
High Powered Entertainment and Brave New World Records bring you the future of Hip Hop that crosses through genres, with Shyan Selahs freshman record. Songs from the album are inspired by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Tupac Shakur, and many of musics pioneers of unique sounds that have mentored this young artist. Ive found inspiration through all types of music that move people and create a visual story instead of just reminiscing on my own personal experiences, says Shyan. My edge comes from a willingness to embrace the extreme and create an artistic explanation of the experience.
Based on the companys mantra; Be Brave, the LP reflects Shyans talent for introducing the most unexpected content over amazingly unique and soulful music. Selections from Brave New World such as Oh My Godd My Musik, or The Summer We Fell in Luv, leave the listener with a evocative feeling of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, and Marvin Gaye. New school flavor isnt lost with smooth beats and conscious lyrics, with nuances from Nas, Kanye West, Lauryn Hill, and Jay Z on Soul Myousic, Hustla, Luv Me Or Leave Me Alone and Carpe Diem.
The first single from Brave New World, Hollywood Blvd pulls a simple truth from adoring eyes of the American public on the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. Shyan sings of drugs, money, and the destructive price of fame in the L.A. scene that everyone wants so badly to join. With the momentum of Brave New World already on high, NBC/Paramount has picked up Hollywood Blvd to air in the hit series Numb3rs and has deemed it, An instant hit, impossible not to dance to. The combination of Shyan's vivid lyrics complete with
a pulsing base and screaming guitar solo from Dave Davo Foreman (Anthony Hamilton, Snoop Dogg, Aaliyah, Christina Aguilera) gives Hollywood Blvd the promise of major crossover appeal. High Powered Entertainment CEO, and notable West Coast producer John J Silva (Snoop Dogg, E40, Kurupt, Keyshia Cole) bridged the deal with KOCH Entertainment to distribute Brave New World.
Shyan Selahs contribution doesnt stop at the legendary House of Blues recording studio where Brave New World was spawn; he is also the COO of The Jimi Hendrix Foundation in Seattle where he serves as a spokesman for the Rock & Roll pioneer. Shyans talent reaches from his lyrics, album, and advocacy to pass the baton of Hip Hops inspiration to todays youth.
Brave New World brings the best of Shyan Selah all the way around: the MC and the vocalist, the hustler and the community leader. His unique tone, character and voice, bring a much needed relief to the state of mainstream Hip Hop, and strengthen the bridge to the cross over genre of rap and R&B.
"Hollywood Blvd" in Top 5 Most Added for Nationwide College Radio
March 4, 2009 - Brave New World is pleased to announce that Shyan Selah's first single "Hollywood Blvd," from his debut album Brave New World, is currently rated #4 out of the top five most added songs to nationwide college radio Rap Attack charts this week.
Rap Attack keeps track of the top 30 songs added to college radio rotation each week.
Nasty Nes of www.RapAttackLives.com, which delivers and monitors new urban music for college radio has reported that deejays across the country have responded favorably to "Hollywood Blvd" calling it a "winner," and a "good track with a hot beat."
The song, which was featured in the CBS drama Numb3rs, has received steady praise for its hard club beat, hot guitar solo from Dave "Davo" Foreman, and Selah's vivid and current lyrics.
BNW Vice President Jon Stockton says college radio is just the beginning as Brave New World continues to promote Selah's album debut.
"We are bulding a national buzz on Shyan Selah from the bottom up," says Stockton. "First we take over college radio, and the clubs in our target markets, which already love the track; and we are building a strong foundation of online content that will turn him into a cult hero online. Add in radio & T.V and we are on our way to creating a dynasty for 'Brave New World,' where Shyan Selah is the next Jay-Z."
Kingwood Summer Jam
Shyan Selah touched many hearts in Kingwood Saturday as he performed songs from his upcoming album, Brave New World, for the benefit concert dedicated to two students who passed tragically in a May car accident. Performing for a crowd of 700 - many of them teenagers - at the Kingwood Town Center, Shyan's music definitely caught the interest of the Houston community who came to see hometown stars such as Mike Jones and Paul Wall.
"Shyan was definitely well-received," says Lamar Berry, the organizer of the event. "He has such a different style and it caught their attention."
"The kids were just hanging on to the performers while they were on stage doing their thing," adds special guest DJ, OG Ron C. "They've never experienced anything like this before."
Despite threats of thundershowers, Shyan had the crowd nodding their heads with "Get It Boy," a track he wrote years ago for the streets before launching into the inspirational "Carpe Diem," and the smooth "Hustla," tracks from his debut Brave New World. As a special presentation for the parents of the two students he performed "For So Long," an aching dedication to his grandmother that speaks of overcoming personal adversity. As he left the stage many parents of the teenagers in attendance thanked him for performing such an inspirational set.
"People were coming up to me telling me how they too had lost someone and how they related to that song," says Shyan. "It was important for me not to just get the crowd hyped but also perform something dedicated to why we were here."
Proceeds from the concert went to the families of the students and towards raising a scholarship fund for both Kingwood High School and Kingwood Park High School. Other performers for the Kingwood Summer Jam included Fat Pimp, Lil L, Kiotti, Lil Will, Trapstar, Go DJ's, Lil O, Jimbo, Bandi Garcia and American Idol Top 24 finalist, Sundance Head.

Soul Mysouic
Intro:
It’s On (Yeah)
It’s On (Look)
I Know you waitin on soldier
I know you waitin on a warrior
I know you waitin on a God
Verse One:
Time for me to transform on ya’ll
Talk god son of man swarm on ya’ll
Walk tall hit the land like I’m suppose to
Get ya’ll with the scriptures and holsters
Hold up for a minute baby pause on it
Every broad in the joint drop draws on it
And you can see the sweat beamin on my forehead
Veins popped out, screamin out “Go HEAD”
Peep game baby, Mathew 5th chapter
Deep game lady, snatch you with God Chatter
Fist clinched pissed off and I’m angry
Seeing visions of slave masters trying to hang me
I’m straight off the concrete boy Untamed
Smoking rum dipped capons in the fast lane
Soul Myousic for my whole new, new breed
144,000 a new seed “Soul Myousic”
Chorus:
This is Soul Myousic (yeah) from my heart
Every lyric that’s spit is a fraction of my god
And a soul is just “A spiritual art”
Deep inside the mind of this divine physical god
Verse Two:
All contact..we combat shaitan
4th leg of the relay pass the baton
Now it’s on”WARTIME BABY”
Coming off like Magic “Showtime Baby”
Here the new rhythm airwaves and we taking over
In the project stair case praise Jehovah
Laying hands on the sick one’s bless they soul
While hitting push up in the graveyard chest is swole
The new world hit the scene rolling SUV’S
Jump back flash the logo “The Bright Red B”
Revelations the Horseman this is it
Shyan on the white one chapter 6
Dig deep for the meaning of the songs I write
Can’t sleep cause I’m pheening for the god I’m like
I’m a keep it all hitting like Canseco
And won’t stop til the most high say so
“Soul Myousic”
This is Soul Myousic (Yeah baby) from my heart (Oh)
Every lyric that’s spit is a fraction of my god (Whoo-ooh)
And a soul is just (Yeah baby) “A spiritual art” (Oh)
Deep inside the mind of this divine physical god (Oh Oh Oh Ohhh)
Verse Three:
Now I’m a talk trash cause I got to
3rd eye activated as I watch you
stay high elevated like herb do
But god spewing out my mouth words hurt you
let it curse you with a plague from the last days
Flames flowing through my chest burning past ways
I’m exhale the ashes and embrace the soot
Transfigure now this boy got the face of CUSH
Don’t push me, I’m way close to the edge
And every lyric’s like a follicle up in ya head
So I push the pedal to the metal boy hit the scene
No trace just a vision of my gangster lean
Stay clean cause to be pure is too real
But I’m the judge holding scales of the mass appeal
So ya boy trying to free the people like Abe Lincoln
Dig it deep, six feet got the grave sinking
“Soul Myousic” (Music)
Every lyric that’s spit is a fraction of my god (Woo-ooh)
C’mon now go!
Everybody go!
Everybody Go!
Everybody everybody everybody now go!
This is music from the soul (the soul)

“Soul Music: The Anthem” is an introduction of Shyan Selah to the world as a true artist who’s goal is create an urban music crusade. Bursting with passion and energy and chock-full of references to power and spirituality, the song is a hip-hop warrior cry and Shyan's the warrior sent to provide for and serve any and everyone who are thirsting for new material in a world where much of urban music has become at best stagnant and at worst soulless.
Carpe Diem
Take a picture form it in ya mind
Shyan walkin the narrow linea pharaoh on the grind
Yeah one of a kind.George Foreman in his prime
A wizard on the rhyme guerilla with a nine
I’m a hustla a dealer a killer so divine
Something like when Mike had Thriller on his mind
The women love me when I drill em from behind
Singing ice cream castles in the summatime
Yeah my daddy raised me right
Locker room style a playboy mag and a pipe
Pants on sag with the flag on the right
Young cat with the khakis cuffed runnin over the nikes
Be like mike yeah that’s all right with me
As long as you lose the K and E and replace it with C
Where I’m at is the place to be
And my code name is GOD with an extra D
CHORUS:
Yeah take a picture it’ll last longer boy
Hang it up on ya wall and you get stronger boy
And scream out “CARPE DIEM”
Then close ya eyes boy and you can be him.
Take a picture it last longer boy
Hang it up on ya wall and get stronger boy
Never will I have to front..pass the blunt
And 2-3 celebutantes
It’s whatever I want and I don’t want whatever
Just the cheddar and a life bright as So Cal weather
It’s pandemonium from man to woman
4 by 1 em relay my “BE BRAVE” slogan
That’s word to any panther still roaming Oakland
Or the two tattoed on my hips as ill omens
The good kind this is Underworld Hood Rhymin
And I’m the half VAMP half LYKEN
Left hand grippin the mic..right one givin em the heisman
A new school mayan messiah named “Shyan”
Adonai Selahwatch me work
Flow running out my mouth like tongue talk at church
Like hallemallah akurrakka na fu sha la bee
“WHAT” that means I’m the baddest ni**a you’ll ever see.
Verse 8 Bar:
I’m not a throwback... i’m much more than that
I’m the new Houdini told ya I’d be back
You just didn’t recognize it cause I came back black
Getting raised on the weed flames and Daniel Jack
My pops from DC he aint hold none back
Like a swole Joe Jackson with a lil more scrap
And I was like a young Mike “Off The Wall”.
But I kept the big Nose skin tone and balls
Not a yes man but I am the gambling type
My family black as Grambling man it’s like
I got that funny blood that ole native negro
But they don’t know if I’m Indian Spanish or Creole
Fist up symbolizing my love for my people
Or the game winning Jordan fadin from the free throw
So all ya’ll are Byron’s compared to my rhyming
No need for A&R’s it is I who signed him
(Boy)
You know

Carpe Diem is another example of the duality that exists in Shyan Selah's personality - having both a sense of gritty rebelliousness yet serving as inspiration to others to aspire to bigger and better things. The beat, hardcore hip hop, acts as a soundtrack for the streets while the lyrics act as an exercise in visualization. Take a picture, it'll last longer/Put it on your wall and you'll get stronger...equals see what you want, focus on it and become it. Seize the day.
Hustla
I mean, ain’t nothing new under the sun baby
I’m raised on Jimi Hendrix (Hendrix)

And I don’t want to come back
Not til Jesus come back
Song: Hustla
Recorded _: House of Blues Recording Studios
Shyan Selah’s “Hustla” is a complete redefinition of a word often used in Hip Hop. Managing to capture the essence of the greats without fully imitating, Shyan conveys the genius of Jimi Hendrix, the edginess of Led Zeppelin, B.B. King’s sensual blues and James Brown’s raw energy. From the time the first beat hits, the track oozes a confidence that is only compounded by Shyan’s self-assured and potent lyrics. The word “swag” doesn’t come close to describing “Hustla,” which contains both a mainstream and underground element underneath a beat (provided by Freddie Fingerz) that’s sexy and dramatic. The song conjures up images of men who were the real OGs, men who knew what it truly meant to be a man - getting that money and doing it with an honor and style that made them irresistible to all women and a companion to only the elite few.

Summer We Fell in Luv
Got me feeling like
California Dreamin
Hey Baby you been on my mind
I just want to see you one more time
Do it like the summer we fell in love.
I can still smell ya perfume
Sorry momma if the god ever hurt you
I promise momma that I never would desert you
I know I held back and gave my love a curfew
Plus I saw you in the mall jus the other day (did you know?)
Didn’t have the balls to approach you so I stepped away (let her go)
Sometimes life’s better from the sidelines
I aint gone lie, I was walking ten steps behind
I couldn’t help but to check out ya back side
I wonder if you told ya man bout ya last guy
Cuz I remember how we used to dance
Late night at the club grindin “no hands”
Cuz you had a smile that would light up the whole room
Before it all got wild, everything was cool
Me and you nobody else mattered
Now I’m pickin up the pieces to a heart shattered
Follow me though
But I can still see ya pretty face
Im having visions of you posted wearin all lace
Cuz I had no idea what was goin on
I was lost my soul stuck behind the ozone
Momma told me to be good to myself
Hurting you wasn’t good for ya dude’s health
You text me early morning in the am
In fact remember you used to sex me in the am
Don’t let me get started cause I wont stop
I saw ya myspace and my heart dropped
See the pain on my face as I stared at ya
I aint trippin I’m just kickin that I care about ya
And it’s a fact girl I cant deny
The truth is evident momma I cant lie
I told my homeboys that you’d be the one
And they told me don’t stop til I get it done
But I’m feeling like
California Dreamin..

A classic hip hop love song, "Summer We Fell in Luv" brings to the mind images of early loves and loves lost. With a laid back melody that drifts like the waves on a California coastline, this track marks the soft side of a man who's chosen to walk through life like a Godd. Even with all the strength, passion and confidence there exists a heart that loves abundantly - something that is apparent as the lyrics describe the respect and affection that still exists towards a past lover.
Concrete City
Yah they don’t know my name yet
But I swear to god me and Malcolm x came out the same set
Shyan got flow that make ya brain sweat
Waving my tech, making all ya’ll haters frames wet
But for real it’s the same vet,
Platinum chain hang 3 inches below ya man’s neck
Above the heart beat, so it bounce off my chest
Every time the god gotta take a deep breath
To beat stress, I attach the word depressed
To my punching bag cock back and swing left
I’m def add the jam since I’m spitting this
Ripping this beat half I long division it
God been flippin it long before the hard core
Encore is the word heard when I’m on tour
So pure, with the flow I spit with straight passion
Trying to raise slaves out the casket
Chorus (4x)
We can really get it Krunk (What)
If you wanna get it Krunk (What)
Baby Let’s all get it Krunk (What)
You Know Selah get it Krunk (What)
Even if you got a oozie, you better be using it
My tongue is a gun of it’s own, and I’m so cool with it
Add ya crew to it, how I do it is something awful
They be saying shyan selah rhymes are unlawful
The black ted Koppel, spitting good news,
To hood dudes leaving multiple women confused
Nothing but oohs’ be pouring out my fan base
7 chic’s in bikini’s and they all walking down my stair case
They stare at my face, like they owe me something
They body, they mind, they money and anything I’m wanting
I been dumping on the curbs since 13
Varsity players club, Shyan is first team
MVP of the league, mc’s is like nahhh
Could it be the dude from the northwest so raw
Ha ha ha ha I’m laughing at you wanna be’s
Oooda coooda woooda shoooda but aint ever gonna be’s
Chorus (4x):
I’m like Jesus with a bandanna, and mad grammar
Trying to turn this mutha out, but boy I ain’t Hammer
The green lantern, African Americana
Roc flip the track like he’s rap music’s Santana
And ya’ll cannot, take the man’s spot
Selah was born down in Salem’s lot
Bumping music from the Wailers, inhaling pot
Ya’ll don’t know what I got, the combo of Biggie and Pac
This song was written in less 20 minutes
Add the name Shyan to the book of Guinness
Then slide me a Guinness and crack a brew with ya dude
The chic’s lamp by the pool in the nude with ya dude
I so sincere, this here is my year
I don’t care, who ever is my peer, there’s no fear
Oh yeah,
My tongue flip on the mic like it’s a c******s
A yo rocdusa could you please give em the chorus
Chorus (Repeat 4x):
As an artist Shyan Selah's music is both unique and commercial, something quickly realized when one first hears "Concrete City" with its high energy club-bangin dance beat. The elements of "Concrete City" make up that of a man who knows who he is and not afraid to say so. Confident, smooth, physical and intelligent are just of the words that make up the essence held in the track's lyrics.
Do It Momma (Kiss the Sky)
Hey everybody let’s get live

Against the backdrop of 70’s funk music meets soulful hip hop, produced by Tha Trailz, “Do It Momma (Kiss the Sky)” tells a story of an American pimp and his number one girl. Just as the pimp became a cultural icon for black men in the 70’s, Shyan brings back the air of confidence and swagger that moved a generation who craved empowerment and freedom and would do any and everything they had to in order to survive. In this world a woman, beautiful and sexy, paid the bills with only one skill while her main man watched closely, neither really wanting the life but thriving in it all the same. Within the song Shyan himself emerges as the half angel, half pimp, with the guts to not only tell the story but to do it with a style and purpose that hasn’t been seen or heard in decades.
Hotta
Yea I’m hot like fire
Hot like boilin oil or iron
Hot like Cali mid-August the Valley
Hot like volcanic granite in Maui
Yea you get the picture parents
Picture Paris “the city” not the pretty heiress
I’m chillin on the terrace over lookin the land
You blinded by the carrots jumpin off of my hand
Bling ray’s hit the sting rays under the sand
It’s spring break and dj bumpin Shyan
SO guess that make hot as the dance floor
Chic’s doin the Micro-Wavin they hands yo
Up at me callin me pappy or papi
Holla at me I’m right here mami
South American dolly with the beautiful backs
Spittin these beautiful flows over these beautiful tracks

CRAZY crazy as you want to be
AND BABY I JUST CANT GET YOU OFF MY MIND “HEYAYAY”

Oh I’m so flammable the untamable natural
Pattin at my afro tobasco hot

Something like the pelvis when it mash on the cot
A ni**ified Elvis blue suede in the drop
Snowflakes spinnin I’m hot like Seven denim
All I need is an Angel in em
You know a So-Cal model so coke bottle
I’m hot like a whip parked gas full throttle
Yeah watch the tires burn,
Rubber under cover now it’s Tyra’s turn
That’s code for goin to the banks
And if I should die before I awake
HOTTA. I’m hotter than you can believe gotta be
CRAZY. crazy as you want to be
You Got thang about ya

With the track's seductive hook combined with a little bit of rock edge "Hotta" is attraction with an attitutude, passion with a swagger. This song is about a man seeing a beautiful woman and letting her know her effect on him as the lyrics relate a fun and steamy flirtation that's still serious in its sincerity while combining with beat that won't allow for sitting still.
Luv Me or Leave Me Alone
Yo you aint ever seen nobody not quite like me in yo life
I’m that guy that you probably would only ever see at night
In your dreams and fantasies cuz man that be my only type
Can it be that vanity has clarity upon my mic
This aint hype this is hope something dope a brave new narcotic
A rebel with a cause for making ghetto noise appear melodic
Boy I got it you cant get it admit it ya’ll im the truth
Picture me rapping while wrapped in straight jackets up in this booth
My mind is focused I’m a token for angels that love shoot
See me comin with kick drums announcing my arrival oooh
Look out momma my drama is nothing that you’ve ever seen
Godd is my game and name is the same m*********n thing
I can bring it I’ve brought it so many many times before
Sexin is nothing ask yo woman about my kitchen floor
This if for the people who war needing music drugs and chicks
Stuck in the desert next to never forever needing this
Luv Me or Leave Me Alone (Gotta Love Me)
Luv Me or Leave Me Alone (Leave Me Alone)
Luv Me or Leave Me Alone (Huuuuuh)
Luv Me or Leave Me Alone (Leave Me)
Verse 2:
I am viciously ripping these words into things you never heard
Something like herb when it’s birthed here out on this planet earth
Every lyric is livid get it wicked I done kicked it first
No ones imagined that rappin could be flipped so bezerk
I’m hot as burnt close the curts the game is over lil boy
What’s happenin’s a fraction compared to chips stackin like ahoy
Ohh boyy what it do it do do it everyday
I put that on my childhood the wild hood of Federal Way
I’m always winning you forgettin the way it’s goin down
Take a breath pass the dutchie on the left and do it now
I’m an artist a Picasso a Michea’l Angelo ya diiiggg
A Hathaway, a Hemingway, a MLK in one kid
Same guy many minds anytime you want it bring it
F**k it I can stop this rap s**t now and do the rest singin
And I thank you Father for Blessing Me
Chorus (2x):
Verse 3:
And I love my daughters and they momma and my only momma too
And my poppa the one who brought me everything from jazz to blues
Rock to soul to gospel though my penecostal flows abuse
All alone without a home so it’s god’s throne where I choose to snooze
Make some room I’m comin soon to every ghetto in the world
Nothing new I do it for the fact that I got my baby girls
Please forgive me for wishing that daddy on that day was sterile
I made you but hate to admit the s**t daddy has had to hurl
To the side cause like a tide my emotions rose to vital
And without my pride I might have died cuz they tried to take my title
So I’m a go crazy til they lay me in that coffin ya’ll
But on day 3 don’t hate me if I’ve risen they cant stop me ya’ll
I’ll keep it spittin I aint quitting I aint stopping baby why should i
Flip it around cant hold me down. Aint nobody gone break my stride
I’m that guy that dude on a poster you suppose to love so much
But what would you do if the dude on the poster hopped up off ya wall “LIKE WHAT”
Song: Love Me Or Love Me Alone
Produced by: Freddie Fingers
A sincere expresson of both pride and pain, "Luv Me or Leave Me Aone" tells the story of a young man that has experienced doubt and hate only to overcome those experiences with self-love and a sense of purpose for humanity. The beat is prototypical of producer Freddie Fingerz: epic, dramatic and full bodied - perfectly suited for the raw emotion of the hook and the message of perserverance in the lyrics.
F*** You Pay Me
Here I come world this here is a stick up
Nah, this ain’t pop this is not another chic cut
Even though I love it when they thick backed and d cupped
And ya I got to touch em when they waiting for this beat to
Drop through the speaks as she dance like a diva
But underneath the skirt she w****r than Katrina
I call it how I see it cuz that’s why I’m born yo
In this ghetto coliseum she offering us porn yo
And my momma aint raised no punk
I’m a godd I bear the scars of Solomon’s sons
And that’s probably why she want to have my sex
And yea maybe later but for now it’s checks
Cashiers please, cause last years mc’s didn’t spit no truth
Now I’m the leader of America’s rebellious youth
To every soldier not enlisted with Uncle Sam
You can ride on the block with the Godd Shyan
Yah you pretty beautiful lady what? F*** U pay me
Yah so giddy, sexy, crazy what? F*** U Pay me
Yah you gangster flag raised up like what? F*** U pay me
Yah you haters mad at the godd for what? F*** U pay me
And I’m a beast when It comes to the beats
The godd choose riddles that will wiggle the whole middle east
Freddie droppin that bass like h***** on freaks
The track is like a crack epidemic you see the grooves in the streets
The gangsters and hustlas are movin to the beat
Two stepping on the side walks, the popos retreat
Flags that was raised up now fall to they feet
Cause the godd’s in the spot like Africans in heat
It’s literal, the sun’s ray’s are scorching ya physical
We getting hot in here so pass the residual
Royalties and no man’s more royal than me
You gone need all of golden state to warrior with me
I’m the black Prince Charles holding my balls
Shyan Adonai Selah “The Godd”
So remember my face
And place me in top 3 dawg as the uno, dos, tres
And they knowin that I am on some brand new next
Like a black David Koresh or a new Warren Jeffs???
But Nah, I’m something like the next Hugh Heff
Or the evolution of a new Malcolm X
Pay attention to the rebel in the flesh
I do it easily the easy e is being rebirthed in the west
My nick name is success
D**k game is chess
The queen only move when there’s no rooks left
Look to ya left too late and now she losing your breathe
And ya chic in the spot cole shaking her breasts
And she looking at me like I am the last man left
Or the first man born out the mouth of god’s breath
She holding tight to the edge of her dress
Lift up slow so we can see some more yes
I put my thumb and my middle and my index together
Moved em real close and said god bless whatever like yea
Chorus (repeat 2x):
Song: F*** U Pay Me

Recorded on another head banging Freddie Fingerz track, "F*** U Pay Me" acts as a theme for any and everyone in the industry and elsewhere who's shed blood, sweat and tears for their passion only to be met with greed, sabotage and hate in return. It's a message for anyone who's had it with going without the recognition and respect they deserve.
My Music
CHORUS (2x):
Oh Lord Don’t Make Me Do It
They Tryin to Stop My Music
I’ll War I Show I Prove It
Can’t Break Me - Yeah
RAP VERSE 1:
I am legend by the age of seven
I already knew I had the face of heaven
Ain’t nothing borrowed the gift was given
Take over the inner city with the Pats and Pigeons
This ain’t politics, this God s**t
Real music, head nod s**t
Same ole Roc s**t, bounce the cut
Blow the horn m*****a and pass the blunt
They comin in the droves like catholics in mass
Yea I mix it up like acid and Jazz
Or hip hop being rolled up with hash
Or hip hop minus the latest fad
I’m a risk, Barak Obama with a twist
King of Black America, n***a with a niche
Everything beautiful coming off of my lips
So pucker up m*****a here’s another kiss
CHORUS
VERSE:
There’s a War Goin On
I’m out here alone
The Sky is My Home
So I Wanna go Sky High
Time to Make it Known
I’m Crying for my Soul
I’m Bleeding Through the Song
The Moon is my Light
RAP VERSE 2:
No tanks, no bombs or hummers
Gimme John Lee Hooker and a bad a** drummer
Lower the bass, the Godd’s in the place
Shyan the ace, with the poker face
Gather round pass the torch around
Lean back, it’s about to go down
Feel like Jesus bleeding through the crown
Take it off let the thorns hit the ground
Yea and that’s what up
Pour a lil mo mojo in the cup
I’m a sip til the moon collapse
Til Reparations is given to blacks
And ya’ll all know that that’s gone be a long time
Everybody want Heaven can’t u see the long line
But I’m the bouncer at the door
Askin what u came here for
Another masterpiece by the Tha Trailz where Shyan Selah gets to channel the greats of classic rock, “My Musik,” flirts with the essence of Led Zeppelin as Shyan belts out the chorus, his passion for his artistry undeniable. Still very Hip Hop, “My Musik” is also a banger for the heads as Shyan once again goes no holds barred in his lyrical imagery “I’m a risk, Barack Obama with a twist” as he states it the spirit of what he is comes through and the listener knows they’re hearing something altogether new. Vividly spiritual yet rooted in earthily realities, “My Musik,” is the epitome of Shyan Selah as the “Rebel with a Cause.”
